Aims & Goals
The Automation-cum-Quality Engineer ensures end-to-end coverage during testing and ensure to deliver good quality product
Key Responsibilities
Automation: Primary responsibility
• Understand current testing processes
• Work with QA team to figure out processes to be automated
• Responsible for planning and automating in-house testing processes
• Responsible for testing, implementing and streamlining automated processes
• Responsible for improving Automated processes with process update
QA execution
• Along with Automation, can able to perform QA test execution
Domain, product knowledge
• Willing to attend planned trainings and undertake self-study assignments to understand the technology and/or to understand the functionality of component/modules, product and domain.
Experience Level
• 2 - 4 years of experience in Automation
• Along with automation experience, experience in functional testing is preferable
Educational Background
• Post Graduate, B.E. or equivalent
Essential Skills
• Hands-on experience on languages like Perl, VB Script, Java Script (Mandatory)
• Hands-on experience on MS Excel macros
• Experience with Automation tool
• Strong analytical and logical skills
• Working knowledge of PLSQL / SQL scripts
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, Unix / Linux OS
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
